An insider’s advanced look at the top collector cars of Barrett-Jackson’s upcoming Scottsdale auction in January 2013 can be seen at 10 p.m. ET today on SPEED in the latest segment of Barrett-Jackson Special Edition.
Barrett-Jackson’s Salon Collection of elite collector cars focuses on the very highest level of vintage automobiles – the fine classics, rare show cars and prototypes, even the original Batmobile – that will be crossing the block during the Scottsdale auction.
These cars represent the highest-level of special-interest vehicles; at the 2012 Scottsadale auction, a number of them crossed into the multi-millions of dollars.
This year’s sale again boasts a stunning array of the best-of-the-best collector cars in the Salon Collection, as well as the impressive 5000 group of more than 50 other top cars. The total number of cars exceeds 1,000 cars for the six days of auctioneering.
“With the caliber of vehicles crossing our auction block this year, I believe this could be the greatest selection of cars ever sold at one auction in history," said Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson.
