The excitement behind the coming of the V8 BMW M3 has fueled countless stories, forum posts, and speculation as to what it will ultimately look like, what drivetrain configuration it will be delivered with, and what it will be like to drive. Thanks to the wild enthusiasm for the new model, BMW put together some footage of the car on the move, and some static shots of the the vehicle from the inside out.
From the aluminum multi-link suspension, double-VANOs cam controls, braking energy regenration, the carbon fiber roof, to the various aero treatments available, this M3 is the flagship for BMW's swagger and attitude.
With deliveries still a few months
Just announced, BMW is offering an advance opportunity to drive the V8 M3 at the Nurburgring...for the low, low cost of $5,500...flight to Germany not included. For those that can't wait and can spare the change for the 'Ring M3 V8 experience, being one of a limited number of people to have pedaled the 420hp/300tq Bimmer would be a unique bragging right in itself.
The bigger hood bulge hints at the humbling poweplant beneath. The M3 is no longer just a car to out-handle the competition. Out-acceleration is now a part of the game. (Photo: BMW) » More Photos
