Cadillac has unveiled its next generation SRX Crossover, an all-new 2010 model that will launch worldwide in mid-2009. A mid-size luxury crossover, SRX will be featured by Cadillac during the North American International Auto Show opening Jan 11 in Detroit.

The five-door SRX evolves with completely new exterior and interior design and a choice of two fuel-efficient six-cylinder engine choices that are both new to Cadillac. The high-technology engines are the smallest-displacement engines offered by Cadillac in North America, and will feature gains in economy and performance.

Similar in styling and proportion to Cadillac’s
Provoq Concept that appeared in many auto shows during 2008, SRX is designed to bring a fresh interpretation of the GM luxury brand’s design philosophy. The all-new 2010 model replaces the SRX that launched in 2004.
“The next-generation SRX is the result of the continued exploration and refining of Cadillac design language, with the goal of creating dramatic presence in the luxury crossover space,” says Clay Dean, Cadillac design director.
