SPEED will crank up the volume and take its cameras inside the nation's largest touring automotive lifestyle events - Hot Import Nights (HIN) - with a program of the same name set to premiere Nov. 4 at 10:30 p.m. ET.

Built around the eclectic car customization craze and wrapped in an ear-thumping, designer-driven nightclub atmosphere, Hot Import Nights brings together the latest trends in cars, music and style in one high-energy, never-ending car party.

The show will be hosted by the Adrienne Janic, better known as "AJ" in the motor world. The California native and three-year co-host of Overhaulin' has multiple television and film credits, including stints on House and Kitchen Confidential.

"Going into 2008, we told our viewers it would be the most ambitious year ever when it came to developing a wide variety of new weekly automotive and motorcycle lifestyle shows on SPEED," said Steve Craddock, SPEED SVP of Programming. "Hot Import Nights continues to honor that pledge with a nod to the youth movement and tuner culture that continues to gather strength across the country."

Bud Brutsman, producer of the popular SPEED programs Livin' the Low Life with Vida Guerra, Hot Rod TV, Payback and Forza Motorsport Showdown, will take on the challenge of bringing this unique experience to the television screen with 10 30-minute episodes delivered in 720p High-Definition.

The final episode will be shot in Las Vegas at a special event scheduled for Nov. 4-7 at the SEMA Show, the world's premier automotive specialty products trade show.

"I've been dying to get into the tuner and sport compact automotive world," said Brutsman, who also produced the popular car shows, Overhaulin' and Rides. "The enthusiasm of the builders is contagious. Hot Import Nights is the coolest event in the sport compact market, and capturing all of its energy and bringing it to SPEED is exactly what I've always wanted to do."

"Bud is a guy whose passion for automotive content is matched by his expertise as a go-to producer of quality programs within the genre," commented SPEED's Programming VP and Executive Producer Robert Ecker. "He and his production team at BCII have consistently proven themselves adept at delivering great-looking shows with outstanding production value that generate ratings for the network. We look forward to welcoming HIN as the latest addition to the lineup of original series on SPEED."
