SPEED™ ROLLS OUT SECOND WAVE OF SUMMER PREMIERES

MY RIDE RULES, DUMBEST STUFF ON WHEELS MAKE DOUBLE-EPISODE DEBUTS AUG. 3

With Adam Carolla’s The Car Show up and running, along with the second season of the popular series American Trucker, SPEED introduces two new titles Aug. 3 – Dumbest Stuff on Wheels (Episode 1 at 8 p.m. ET; Episode 2 at 8:30 p.m. ET) and My Ride Rules (Episode 1 at 9 p.m. ET and Episode 2 at 9:30 p.m. ET) with double-episode premieres.

The self-explanatory Dumbest Stuff on Wheels clip show features two- and four-wheel bloopers and mishaps, while My Ride Rules brings four car fanatics together to show off their wildly unique vehicles to prove they have the hottest wheels on the road. Contestants inspect and test drive each car, judge them on appearance, performance and overall personality, with the highest score claiming a cash prize, trophy and bragging rights.

Episode 1 of My Ride Rules features a 2006 BMW M3, 1965 Buick Riviera, 1973 Mach 1 Mustang replica and a tricked out 2004 Dodge Ram. Episode 2 features a 2010 Camaro,1946 Chevy panel truck, super-charged '06 Audi R8 and a low-riding '81 Regal.

Both new shows have dedicated program pages and weekly video clips available on SPEED.com.

The premieres will be followed by Episode 4 of The Car Show (10 p.m. ET), with Carolla and co-hosts Dan Neil, Matt Farah and John Salley getting behind the wheel of George Barris’ famed Batmobile, test driving the Nissan Leaf and chatting with the all-time winningest driver in IMSA GT history -- Steve Millen.

Several other original shows are in development, including the Rob Cohen gymkhana project with the working title BattleX and a show by the developers of the hit series, Wipeout, entitled Whipped, both planned for 2012.
