The season openers for both Skip Barber Racing’s 2008-2009 Southern championships – the Skip Barber MAZDASPEED MX-5 Challenge and the Skip Barber F2000 Regional Race Series – are October 24-26 at Carolina Motorsports Park.
For series ''veterans,'' Skip Barber has scheduled the usual Lapping Sessions for both cars on Wednesday and Thursday, but on the Monday-Tuesday prior, Advanced Two-Day Schools (MX-5 Miata and F2000) are available for all drivers looking to make their first Skip Barber ''starts.''
Three Day Racing School graduates (SBRS and certain others) can be taking their first green flag on Saturday simply by fulfilling their pre-requisites on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Plus, drivers entering their first Skip Barber Race Weekend get a 20% discount (talk to a Series Advisor for details).
CMP is a very cool track
Carolina Motorsports Park is easy to get to, too: It's in Kershaw, S.C., just an hour south of Charlotte, N.C.
Don't miss the two Southern season openers. To sign up or to get more information, call (866) 932-1949, or visit www.skipbarber.com.
