Carolina Motorsports Park delivers again on their promise of extensive renovations and expansion with the addition of its luxurious new clubhouse for their Palmetto Motorsports Club members.

Carolina Motorsports Park created the Palmetto Motorsports Club to allow everyday car and motorcycle enthusiasts the opportunity to drive on a real race track and receive coaching from professionals. With the addition of the clubhouse, PMC heightens the experience and once again delivers on their commitment to making the club all that members could want and more. The 8,800 sq. ft. building is now comfortably filled with sofas, tables, flat screen TVs, a bar area, showers/lockers, and free Wi-Fi, providing members and their guests a place to relax and socialize.

CMP has dedicated 5,000 sq. ft. of the building for long term car storage in the back of the building. “The clubhouse is a place for members to call their own” Says Joe Hooker one of the track’s owners. “They can store their cars, motorcycles and karts in the back and grab a shower before heading home. We’re trying to make it as comfortable and convenient as we can for our members.”

The Palmetto Motorsports Club officially opened up on February 2, 2008. It was created by Carolina Motorsports Park to create easy track access along with affordable track time for both car and motorcycle enthusiasts. The club offers 3 different levels of memberships ranging from $1,400 - $5,500 for up to 52 track days per year.

Located just an hour from Charlotte in Kershaw, SC, Carolina Motorsports Park is the only purpose-built road racing facility in the Carolinas. Sanctioned by The Sports Car Club of America and designed by famed track designer, Alan Wilson, the track offers a challenging 2.23 mile, 14-turn road course. It was built in 1999 by a small group of investors, led by driving enthusiasts Joe Hooker and Bob Humphreys. Carolina Motorsports Park’s clientele includes organizations such as the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA), National Auto Sport Association (NASA), Porsche Club of America (PCA), BMW Car Club Of America (BMWCCA), WERA, NESBA, CCS, and AHRMA. Teams competing in NASCAR, Champ Car, American Le Mans Series, Grand AM, Koni Challenge and World Challenge also utilize the track for testing.
