Kurt Busch, just two weeks removed from scoring a Nationwide Series victory in the car owned by younger brother Kyle, paced Friday's lone Nationwide practice at Darlington Raceway.

Following Busch (171.740 mph) in the top five were Austin Dillon, Brian Scott, Elliott Sadler and Denny Hamlin.

Danica Patrick, making her first on-track appearance at Darlington, was 17th out of 43 cars in the two-hour session.

Qualifying for tonight's VFW Sport Clips Help a Hero 200 is scheduled to get under way at 3:35 p.m. ET.
