Due to the record response to their inaugural “Celebration of the Automobile & Racers Reunion” fund-raising event [September 2007], The Historic Speedway Group [HSG] of Hillsborough is announcing an additional event to extend this amazing celebration.

The HSG is excited to announce The Shops at Daniel Boone will sponsor a Cruise-in starting at 5:00pm and lasting into the evening hours. The Bull City Street Rod Association of Durham, NC will host the event. Live music at Boone Square will be provided by The Magnificents. A DJ will provide music at The Big Barn. Other activities and door prizes are planned for the cruise-in participants. There will be a HSG fund-raising half & half drawing for everyone.
Come to The Shops at Daniel Boone and check out these sweet rides. Come early and shop late! Merchants are extending their hours and invite you to visit them. Come experience the South Churton District at its finest!

The main event! The “2nd Annual Celebration of the Automobile & Racers Reunion” will be held at the Historic Occoneechee Speedway and the surrounding grounds of support businesses on Elizabeth Brady Road.
Gates open at 8:00 am and welcome you all day. The event closes at 5:00 pm. The 2nd Annual Celebration of the Automobile & Racers Reunion is free
Shuttles will pick up riders at these locations: (free service)
- The Big Barn and BB&T located at The Shops at Daniel Boone – South Churton District
- The Home Depot – Hampton Pointe, HWY 86
- The Hillsborough Visitor’s Center – W. King Street in the Historic District
