The all-new 2013 SRT Viper is a marvelous machine, and now production of the super sports car will be lifted to full capacity as customer orders start getting filled.

Chrysler waited until after the Thanksgiving break before production of the SRT Viper fully ramped up. Dealer orders began in mid-November, and first deliveries are scheduled for December.

Production of the latest version remains at Chrysler’s Conner Avenue Assembly Plant in Detroit, which has been home to the Viper since 1995.

Pricing starts at $97,395, plus a hefty $1,995 destination fee. This nets you the standard Viper; if you want the more luxurious GTS, you’ll have to fork over $120,395 plus the same $1,995 destination fee. Note, there's a long list of options too.

All Vipers come standard with an 8.4-liter V10 rated at 640 horsepower and 600 pound-feet of torque. That will get you from 0-60 in just over three seconds and see you comfortably reach a top speed of 206 mph, according to Chrysler. A six-speed manual is the only transmission on offer, though this time there’s traction control and even a launch-control system.
