In an effort to raise funds for those affected by recent earthquakes in Italy’s Emilia-Romagna region, Ferrari will kick off an international online auction beginning the week of June 4.

Up for grabs are a wide variety of items across many different price points. At the top end of the scale is a track-only Ferrari 599XX Evo, which has an estimated commercial value of 1.3 million euros ($1.6 million). Part of Ferrari’s arrive-and-drive Corse Clienti program, the 599XX Evo includes factory support from Ferrari at driving events worldwide.

Formula One memorabilia factors heavily in the auction as well, and expected items include driving suits and helmets from both Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa. An F1 engine, presumably the Type 056 2.4-liter V8 used by Ferrari since the 2006 season, is also on the auction list, along with other items relating to Ferrari’s racing history.

If your budget won’t cover the big-ticket items, a selection of goods from the Ferrari Store will ensure that fans of all incomes have something on which to bid. You may not be able to afford Alonso’s Nomex suit, but you’ll get more use from a Ferrari polo shirt anyway.

Mmany of the items up for sale were donated by Ferrari enthusiasts and collectors around the world, emphasizing the strong and ongoing relationship that Ferrari has with its owners.

Complete details of the auction will be posted on the Ferrari Store website, closer to the launch of the auction.
