The first test of the rocket engine that will power a planned 1,000-mph speed-record challenge was just completed in England. Here’s the CNN report, plus fiery video. Check out: Speed Racer.

What’s billed as the world’s smallest supercharged four-stroke V8 is being put into production by Conley Precision Engines, so now’s your chance to power that itty-bitty street rod you’ve had lying around. This video shows it in action. Check out: Mighty Mite.

Mercedes-Benz videoed its techno-supercar, the SLS AMG Electric Drive, aka the “World’s Fastest Electric Car,” to show off its silent-but-powerful performance on the track. Check out: Battery Power.

The “World’s Most Powerful Signature” is created by F1 driver Lewis Hamilton and a McLaren MP4-12C (before he headed over to Mercedes) as part of an inscrutable anti-drunk-driving campaign. Hamilton’s giant signature is also inscrutable. Check out: Read the Script.
‘Bubbly time, Jerry’
The magical final episode of Jerry Seinfeld’s web series, “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee,” puts him and a hilarious Michael Richards (Kramer, duh) in a decrepit Volkswagen double-cab pickup for a tour of LA and some coffee-shop soul searching. Richards’ tale of the chess-playing savant is priceless. Check out: Still Kramer.
