Shelby remembered
There’s been a whole lot written about Carroll Shelby since his recent passing, but here’s something completely different: an excellent remembrance in Sports Car Digest about Shel’s early days racing Ferraris and Maseratis for John Edgar written by Edgar’s son, William, who experienced it all first-hand. Porsches on parade
OK, so I’m a sucker for Porsches. Here’s a lengthy video of the massive parade lap of 617 Porsche cars of every type imaginable during the recent Porsche Francorchamps Days at Circuit de Spa Francorchamps in Belgium. Quite a traffic jam, really. Check out: Too Much.

We’ve all seen those whackos circling motorcycles around nearly vertical walls, but at this Indian circus, they add in a trio of Nissans. Check out: Good Karma.

Redneck’s dream
Watch these mighty Russian trucks ford a mighty-rushing river. It’s strangely mesmerizing. Also note the high-rise intake snorkels that keep the submerged engines from sucking in a hydrolocking gulp of river water. Which is why you still shouldn’t try this in your pickup truck. Nyet! Check out: Volga Boatmen.
Lambo Rambo
