Hundreds of classics, hot rods, resto-mods and muscle cars will take center stage in Las Vegas for the third annual Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas Auction at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino from Sept. 23-25. The three days of No Reserve auction action will include exhibitor and sponsor activities for visitors of all ages.

Through its exclusive relationship with SPEED, the Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas event will be televised to a national audience with nearly 22 hours of coverage. SPEED will broadcast live in HD from the main auction arena from 1 to 8 p.m. on Sept. 23 and 2, and from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 25. All broadcasts are scheduled for Pacific Daylight Time.

“Being back in Las Vegas will be very exciting this year,” said Craig Jackson, chairman/CEO of Barrett-Jackson. “The third annual Las Vegas auction will be an engaging event filled with more activities scheduled throughout the week for people to participate.

“Not only will we be surrounded by some of the best entertainment in the world, Barrett-Jackson partnered with MGM Resorts International this year to provide five days of REVVED activities set to take place at various MGM Resorts properties, including a spa excursion, shopping adventures, a golf tournament, concerts, a wine auction, car art exhibits and much more.”

Barrett-Jackson will kick-off the automotive lifestyle event with its annual Cruise-In at Gaudin Ford on Saturday, Sept. 18, followed by the Road Rally on Sept. 22 that begins at Fairway Chevrolet and travels down the Las Vegas Strip.

The Barrett-Jackson Auction Company, founded in Scottsdale in 1971, will also use the Vegas event to kick-off its yearlong 40th anniversary celebration.

“The bright lights and the high-energy of Las Vegas make it the perfect place to start our year-long 40th anniversary celebration,” said Steve Davis, president of Barrett-Jackson. “Our Las Vegas auction will feature a diverse selection of collector cars. We’re pulling out all the stops and planning a week that will be memorable. Barrett-Jackson promises to deliver a Las Vegas experience that everyone will enjoy.”

The five-day REVVED extravaganza features automotive and lifestyle activities for tourists and locals, which include shopping excursions, a wine auction, car art exhibits, Barrett-Jackson-themed happy hours and a classic golf tournament that will all highlight the Barrett-Jackson automotive lifestyle week.

"We are delighted to welcome back the Barrett-Jackson automotive auction to Las Vegas," said Cathy Tull, senior vice president of marketing at the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. "Las Vegas is a world-class destination known for hosting special events like this one, giving car enthusiasts and all visitors one more reason to come to Las Vegas."
