AUTOS: Barrett-Jackson, BizBox Link Up

New technology will share the spotlight with old in 2012 as Barrett-Jackson teams up with BizBox to create the Barret-Jackson Mobile Social Media Hot Spot for all its events and grass roots efforts nationwide.
The Social Media Hot Spot will make its first appearance at the 41st Annual Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction in Scottsdale on Jan. 15-22. Featuring more than a thousand vehicles to cross the auction block, the Scotttsdale event has become a fixture in Arizona over the past four decades, annually attracting more than 250,000 visitors from all 50 states and numerous foreign countries.
“We are very excited to be working with Barrett-Jackson,” said BizBox CEO Rick Sikorski. “The Barrett-Jackson name is synonymous with quality, beauty and ageless technology. They recognize that BizBox allows them to reflect their brand and image in a much more appropriate and innovative setting than has been traditionally available in a tent or trailer. BizBox, which has been described as similar to a product you would expect from Apple, is the latest, greatest and greenest evolution in transportable buildings.
Powered by solar technology, BizBox transforms within minutes from a perfect mobile “Branded Box” that can easily be customized to a state-of-the-art office, showroom, food or medical retail store or display center — all at the drop of a hitch. The mobile building features glass walls, hardwood floors, HD display panels and a wraparound deck that can be set up in minutes.
Barrett-Jackson Chairman and CEO Craig Jackson said that the unique look, custom wrap, flexibility and state-of-the-art features of BizBox create the perfect showcase for the company’s many products and services.
