If you’re looking to buy a luxurious new 2013 Range Rover, you’ll have to be patient; just two months after launch, they are already sold out.

The waiting list for the Land Rover’s flagship Range Rover stretches out six to 12 months, said Land Rover’s North American chief, Chris Marchand, in an interview with Automotive News.

The fourth-generation of the British SUV, famous for its off-road capability as well as its luxury appointments, has proven so popular that Land Rover has cut the base model from its U.S. offerings, instead starting the lineup with the HSE version. The Range Rover base model starts at a significant $83,545 while the upgraded HSE adds $5,000 more to the base price

Those are the prices for the models with naturally aspirated V8 engines, which produce 375 horsepower, while the higher-priced Supercharged version gets a 510 horsepower V8 and a price tag of $100,000. Prices reach $131,000 for the top-drawer Autobiography model, before the many available options are added on.

The 2013 Range Rover has been widely acclaimed by the automotive media. Advanced technology features give it the off-road agility of a jackrabbit and its new lightweight aluminum structure shaves 700 from the weight of the previous model.
